Initially I was not going to answer the questions I had asked and instead respond to each answer with poetry. However, after some thought, I thought it would be churlish not adding my answers to the blog.

I could have asked questions that would reap more poetic answers. Instead of asking ‘What is money?’ a more workshop style question could be ‘If money had a voice what would it say?’ I have nothing against these sort of questions, in fact I think they are invaluable in igniting creative output. Indeed I may be asking more creative writing style questions at a later date.

A mosaic is made of many tiles, even found tiles, cobalt blue will be found alongside grannies tea-set. It is this disjuncture that I really enjoy. I deliberately designed the first set of questions to yield thoughtful and less descriptive answers, rather like assembling a cut-up poem from a newspaper article.

I hope that’s clear!
